I am happy,so happy with life,
For me there is no mortal strife,
My senses are attuned to nature's bliss,
Which I cannot afford to miss.

I can look upon a common sight,
Where others see nothing,I see delight,
For I can feel natures abiding force,
Which springs from some unhidden source.

Why be bored, when life is one big joy,
Life is a game, one big toy.
Play the game of life with effortless freedom,
Before you enter God's heavenly kingdom.

Be good to others, and you will find,
A new kind of happiness for mankind.
Give all, take nothing, be generous to aid,
Never ask to be rewarded, or paid.

The earth can be a better place,
Everyone seems to be running a race.
Getting nowhere with all their pride,
I am happy to be so satisfied.

You're proving it isn't what we have but what we do with what we have that really counts.  We cannot outgive God nor worry our way into happiness.  Happiness is the byproduct of your thankful, faithful heart.

Thank you for reminding us where we find the contentment in life.

Charismatic,

Big Smiles!!! I am so very happy that you have returned because now I can call you friend instead of guest. Are you from South Africa??? The lightness and joyful beat of your poem made me feel as if you perhaps were but this might just be my presumption after reading your last poem.

Anyway, I loved your poem and I loved the fact that a person can be so very happy with life, with nature, and with who God created them to be.

God bless you,

-Bob
