Yesteryears Tears “Would you like to come with me We’ll be a couple now, Here’s my hand, do walk with me Would you please allow?” So many years have passed us by My love was put on hold, My thoughts inactive for so long Can it again unfold? Would at the autumn of my life All past dreams come true, That you would really take my hand And start my life a-new? Could it be true or do I dream on Of things that are not there, Or will our end be better still Then in our times so fair? Could it began again Feel as it once had been, Will it be a campaign Will we be happy then? Winter can be a lonely time When many aren’t the same, But would you really love me Or would it end in pain?
