Another troubled day is through, I’ve struggled to find peace with you. With little strength I kneel to pray, And fumble with the words to say. Lord, I know your love is true, But I cannot ask much more of you. Time and again, I failed to stay, Upon the holy paths you paved. Unworthy, I am plagued with sin, Tormenter’s of my soul within. A war between what’s right and wrong, My mind is weak, temptations strong. I do not understand my life, Joy starts my day, it ends in strife. You’ve given so much from above, Yet I still fail you and your love. So Lord I make my last request, I do not ask for tenderness, But humble me until I see, The life I live is misery. Maybe then, in deep despair, I’ll lift my voice into the air, Let go of pride and earthly gains, And praise the living one who reigns. |

THE BIBLE SAYS; WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US! I know this road is difficult at times, but the good news is, JESUS DID IT! He says we can too! God bless you always, Stacey |
