Come join the angelic choir; Sing of the goodness of the Lord! Bring to our hearts the Heavenly Fire Of the saving power of the word! O Lord, I worship you and your Son, With Thee at our side we have won! Christ shed His blood that all may live, And thrive in His almighty name. The Devil flees and demons fly, As was and is through all of time; The name of Christ will conquer all And war and sin and hate will fall! O mighty Lord, come take my heart - Make it as your eternal throne. No depth or height or death can part Us from the love of Christ your own! I am saved through Christ Jesus’ Grace; One day, then, I will see His face! Jesus, the Savior of our race, Is love so true and so divine. He gives to us mercy and grace; His tender love is yours and mine! Though the worst sinner I may be, I know the Lord has died for me! The saving Grace is made for all; The Grace which through Christ is applied. Break down your heart’s great stony wall And let in our God who has died. He comes to take the pow’r of death, If we live with unending faith. |
