Holy Bible, Word of God
Instruction book for life
Answers every question
A companion book and guide.

Never ending source of truth
Within the pages lie
Giving captives freedom
Where once lost souls may fly.

Poetry and wisdom
And songs of passion’s love
Laws and the Commandments
A Father God above.

Gospels tell the story
Of Jesus Christ now King
Apostles, Acts, the Prophets
Depict Good News to sing.

And soon a time is coming
When Jesus we will see
The book of Revelation
Warns all those who read.

From Genesis’ beginning
To Revelation’s end
God’s Word is written in a book
Love letters to His friends.

Jesus is my Rock, music is my sanity.

What a poem praising the living word of the Lord! It is a "never ending source of truth" as you so eloquenly stated.
