Through the blood of Christ our Lord
You can be cleansed of your sins.
By the power of his word
A fresh and new life begin!
The love of God never fails,
Though the winds of sin assail.

Though this world in evil ways,
All but doth forsake thee here,
God is with us all our days;
We’ve no cause for doubt or fear!
Lord, in all Thy majesty,
Come and reign eternally.

Let us go forth to the world
As the bearers of the Word;
The flag of peace be unfurled;
With the power of the Lord!
God, in all Thy majesty,
Come and reign eternally.

Abide with me fast falls the eventide.

How often we forget how well we've been and still are protected by our Lord. Your poem is a great reminder. Nicely done.
