Prayers upon the page
Tears within the words
Laughter in the spaces
but none of that is heard

How could some things once so simple
lose themselves in thin air,
while millions live a million lives
obnoxiously without a care?

Sounds bizarre to my own ears
but I find it perfectly okay
to wander the streets without hesitation
as a million lives might pass away
For as these souls might torment
from the horror and reprieve
I found comfort in knowing
that in words I might believe.

good write with the millions that die a million souls are recycled so another million can die life is an endless cycle

Why crittique if the artist doesn't have time?

I liked the overall idea here, you also stayed on topic without making it to repetive. lt is too true also.Good work!
