Vista Upon a Heart
16 July 2006

This art of love
those pictures to paint
A vista imprinted upon a heart
as to the narcissist of God’s way

An essence of hope
that touch of an Orange Grove
The way of spectacle in image seen
the grass of a landscape in colour green

Could love grow upon an ocean
captured in His net of the sea
This loving God, as if in control
for only He has self interest at toll

A selfish father of heavenly grace
whom answers in ways given
For his children were but the child
upon a journey back to his side

narcissist, - (someone in love with themselves), selfish person - (a person who is unusually
selfish or someone who prevents you from enjoying something that they themselves have
no need for), egocentric, - (a self-centred person with little regard for others) opportunist,
self-seeker - (a person who places expediency above principle)

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no
thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for
the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Matthew 6: 33-34 KJV
3 Nephi 13: 33-34 BOOK OF MORMON

Christopher,

I like all the beauty of God's creation that you've expressed in your poem and I do think that it's all a testimony of how very much God truly loves us.

Yes, God is very much so--Self Sufficient. I've heard it said that God didn't need a family, He Desired one...

...and I do think that it's much more a blessing to know that we are so very very much more desired by God than we are needed by Him.

Enjoyed your poem and I do thank you for sharing your God given talent with us once again.

God bless.
