How Do They Live Their Life?

Just how do unbelievers cope, when they know not The Blessed Hope?
The One above who knows all affairs, and wants to take all their cares.
Just how do these men live their life, while never seeking Jesus Christ?
Who offers to us His helping hand, through ways we cannot understand.

How do they survive every day, without ever knowing God’s Only Way?
That narrow way above all the strife, the way of Peace in Jesus Christ.
How do they deal with all the grief, when in their heart there’s no relief?
While having a heart that’s devoid of, The Living Lord’s Gracious Love.

When those storms of life do come, where does their help come from?
To deal with all of the pain and strife, that all men encounter in this life.
Do they ever reach the place, when they’d welcome His hand of Grace?
The Grace God supplies abundantly, that flows to all men from Calvary.

Will these unbelievers ever learn, to love the Lord who now they spurn?
With deep contempt within their heart, of The Lord, they’ll have no part.
Friend, could it be just ignorance, which causes men such indifference?
Being never told about God’s Son, or the eternal future that is to come.

Were not all Believers, at one time, spiritually dead, in heart and mind?
And as The Lord above the skies, reaches down to open up their eyes,
Now being saved like me and you, as new Believers shall question too,
How did I ever live this life, without The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

He's coming very soon, the signs are very clear,
And when that trumpet sounds, we’ll be otta here!
Waiting in Him with Great Expectation,  Bob Gott

Bob,

Your poem offers some very good questions to consider and a bit of a challenge as well for one to take some time to contemplate where they've come from.

Again, enjoyed the rhyme and the flow of your poem.

God bless.

Sounded like the Cavalry ryme, didn't really fit. Some people  bellieve in other gods.  There is nothing wrong with that.

This is well written.  Once our belief is in place, it's difficult to see others struggle without it.  Although we know we were once there, it's hard to recall how we managed to get through.  Thanks for sharing

  God bless

Hello. I agree with Rhia, and I'd go further to say that this is quite ignorantly judgemental. I say this, because you have the idea that 'they' (us and them is never a good mix) are full of contempt because 'they' don't follow your particular religion.

Without answering your question fully, there are many faiths that are spiritually fullfilling without the need to believe there's a 'fatherly' God 'who wants to take all their cares'. Personally, I think of Christianity as a metaphor to express a certain way of living, just as I think of all the other religions.

I have faith, it's just not boxed and labelled "Christian". To suggest that I am ill-equipped to understand Truth is just your opinion, and I see nothing in your statements to support it.

Further; "spiritually dead". I'm sorry to be so negative, BobGotti, but this is propaganda; insidiuously creating 'betters' without exploring the 'others' positives and parallels whatsoever.

I'd suggest a closer reading of "them", and perhaps you'd understand my opinion, that all faith-in philosophy and theology is good, as long as it's not at the expense of oneself or another.
