Imagine…each rain drop is a tear shed by Jesus
for the lost souls here on earth
Tears of nourishment for our souls
since the day of our birth

Open your hearts and soak up
the gift of salvation he gives us
Receive his blessings one and all
renew your faith… in God trust

Imagine…each ray of sunshine from above
the blood of Jesus giving us life
Making us stronger each day
protecting us from Satan and strife

Let the love of Jesus keep
us warm thru Winter’s chill
Jesus shine your love on the world
fill our hearts with hope till we are still

Imagine…each star in the sky shining bright
an angel…someone that we lost
They watch over us at night
those who paid the ultimate cost

Loved one’s that have passed
before us are waiting patiently
Keep God in your hearts forever
soon he will judge you and me

Imagine…each kind deed we do
another step closer to Heaven we are
Take time to know God the giver
he loves us…no matter who we are

I really really enjoyed how you gave tangibility to the spiritual world with your references to the natural world. Indeed, your poetry has made it very very easy to Imagine.

Wonderful thoughts!  Rain as Jesus' tears, rays of sunlight, the healing warmth of His shed blood.  Thanks for sharing this work.
