Sky~

Whose master plan designed did span
A bridge of optic hues
Across the heaven’s stormy deep
Of cloudy grays and blues?

Whose archer’s bow did shoot a star
To pierce the atmosphere
And showered light upon the night
To hold those we hold dear?

Whose want for fun did bounce the sun
And placed each breaking day
In path of waking rooster’s crow
To set us on our way?

Whose palette brushed on open space
Above the earth and sea
Exposed the empty canvassed face
With painted brilliancy?

Whose hand I ask performed each task
That left us with a sigh
When seen above was God’s pure Love
Expressed for you and I?

God bless,
Lighthouse Bob

LB...I've seen the comments you leave for other people, and its always so constructive. So I knew even before I read your own work that it must be good...well I was right.

Jess,

Who??? Moi (me)???

Smiles. I am very very happy that I've met your expectations here and I'm also very very happy that you finally got around to reading my poetry. Your reply is very kind and I do appreciate it very very much.

God bless.

You married the beauty and the daily humor of His work to masterpiece these thoughts~

Sky,

Yes, I was most inspired by your name as I thought about it and thought about the sky in terms of God's wondrous creation.

I am so happy that you finally got the chance to read it and that you found my poem "beautiful" and so much so that you're keeping it. Big Smiles.

Thank you, sky, and God bless.

-Bob

Marge,

I'm glad that you liked the marriage between the beauty and the humor in my poem. I was a bit afraid to include the humor because I thought that it might contrast too much with the rest of the poem, but from your comment I now see that it does work.

Thank you.

-Bob

Rae,

You have been such a refreshing welcome back for me and I am pleased that you have loved my writing as of late... but, you do know that I give all the credit to the Lord. Right? Without His help, I could do nothing. Amen.

God bless.

-Bob
