FALLING LEAVES

I wonder how one should look at answered prayers
and why do petals first fall soft before leaves turn

bright red, painted greens and splashes of yellow
then winter rain, petals gone, the leaves fall

a collage of color blow with the wind
exchanging desire for knowing and prayers into falling leaves

Rick,

Congratulations on your 50+ milestone reached and most colorful is your poem about falling leaves... the leaves in your poem remind me of blessings falling from Heaven. Enjoyed reading and God bless.

Once someone said every prayer is answered..a yes, a no or wait, but we seem to only see the answers when it's 'yes'. I like your analogy.

   God bless
