A revised version in the form of a song/hymn for a poem I wrote
entitled "Christ" in November 1995

Who is this man called Jesus

Who is this man called Jesus
do we need to know
This man called Jesus
oh how I love him so

For we all have the strength
to reach out and hold fast to His hand
To be there on his right
to choose if so to stand

Christ our Saviour
He died on the cross
for you
Christ our Savior
whose life and death
was in resurrection true

We are all his children
of this our elder brother in name
To teach and learn of
His faith in forth came

Yea, with no Christ
there can be no God
With no faith
we are all of nothing but dust

Stand tall
stand proud to rejoice
for in Christ
Jesus loves us all

We can stand proud only due to the love our Creator has shown us. It's all HIS work. Our only part is believing it.
