His Messenger

When all my days are faded
Into someone else's memory,
Will they recall I loved the Lord
And tried his messenger to be?

Will they remember words I said
To guide them safely on their way?
Please give me words of wisdom, Lord
That will survive beyond my day.

Words that may clear the troubled path
For loved one's coming after me;
Reminding them to look to You
Their ever faithful Guide to be.

Great poem.  I think it is something every believer thinks about at some point in their walk with God.  Sometimes we think about it often.  What will we be remembered as or how wiil we be remembered.  Prayerfully we will be remembered as leading others to guide them to God.

Jesus lives in my heart!  He can in yours too!!!
