A PLEA FROM HELL
~
Hell, hell, oh God, what have I done?
I know I am here because I rejected Your
Son.

They tried to tell me but I would not hear.
I told myself, Christians are crazy religions
are all the same.
Receiving Christ as your Savior just sounded
lame.

Go to church live a good life is all we needed
to do.
Our good deeds out weigh our bad and deceived
myself believing it was true.

But now I am here in this place of torment and
begging my family to hear.
I do it because it's for them that I fear.
Please, please, listen to what I have to say.
Receive Christ as your Savior, do it this very
day.

Heaven and hell are real you see.
It's not to late for you but it is for me.
Hell is a place of outer darkness, full of
terror and fear.
I can assure you there is no fun and no
cheer.

It's full of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of
teeth and eternal fire.
Were all here the thief, murder, false prophet,
unbeliever, and liar.
So please I beg you before it's too late
ask Jesus to be your Savior so you won't
miss heavens gate.

```
Luke 16:22b – 24 ~ The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, “ Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire. ~ Luke 16: 27 ~ Then I beg you Father, send Lazarus to my father’s house, for I have five brother’s. Let him warm them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment~
A novel approach to a much needed truth.  It's the first post of yours I've seen and I look forward to more.  Welcome to these blue pages!
Very true poem.  Too bad the dead from Hell cannot come back and tell the truth about where they will be spending eternity.  But as Jesus said, if thtey would not belive Him, as the Son of God, why would they believe someone gone to the other side.  I often think they would listen if they could jsut see the physical damage done the instant a person goes to hell.  I know many who have gone there because they would not listen or accept our telling them of God's eternal home.  A great perspective on a hot topic - pardon the pun.
Awesome poem, again I am writing.  Excellent poem describing how one who is lost would want to go back to tell others to believe what they are told.  But there are no second chances.  I love this poem.  Rhyme's a little off, but the message is crystal clear.
