Love is to mend a broken heart When it’s been torn in two Love is to heal a battered heart When it’s been scarred and bruised. Love is to calm a raging storm Brewing in your life Love is to calm the raging storm And settle all the strife. Love’s a song within a soul Lifting spirits high Love’s a friend who reaches out When no one will draw nigh. Love’s the role that fills the need When no one else will care Love’s the friend who’s reaching out Your hurts and pains to share. Love’s and Everlasting song He sings it without end Of the love He has for us Love’s to all a Friend. Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

This poem hits home for me because he (the lord) knew my heart was in such a sad condition and he gave me some angelic friends to heal my heart all who know his love. I am blessed and praise him for your poem. I give you a standing ovation for writing it. |
