Many souls are searching
Their longings go unknown
In search for untold comfort
Lost and so alone.

Deep inside they’re yearning
For what they do not know
They fill their lives with sorrow
While searching for their goal.

Substitutes are offered
All to no avail
Mar the body, scar the mind
Futile attempts all fail.

The only one solution
The satisfying key
Lies in life with Jesus
Fulfilling, peaceful, free.

The yearning in all humans
The searching each one feels
Is made complete in Christ the King
To Whom each one must kneel.

He’ll either be your Savior
A friend for all of time
Or He’ll be your enemy
And far from Him reside.

Jesus lives in my heart!  He can in yours too!!!

Another good one.  I do have a suggestion for the last line of the last stanza.  Hope you don't mind.

"He’ll either be your Savior
A friend for all of time
Or He’ll be your enemy
And far from Him reside."

I'm quite sure you mean that whoever considers Christ their enemy is residing far from Him. It apprears that HE is the subject therefore the last 2 lines don't go together.

Suggestions:  Or He'll be your enemy
              Because you walk in pride

              Or He'll be your enemy
              'cause on others you relied

               Or He'll be your enemy
              Since you refuse His guide

God bless

    Rae

Thank you for the ideas Rae.  I will consider them.  They are all great ideas on how to end the final stanza.  Thanks again.
