Satan is defeated
God has won the fight
Jesus holds the victory
He’s broken through the night.

He tempted and he tortured
The Only Son of God
Attempting to dethrone Him
Jesus beat the odds.

He offered empty kingdoms
And promises of fame
If Jesus would bow down
And worship Satan’s name.

But when the Lord rebuked him
Satan’s fury raged
He crucified the Son of God
And cursed His Holy Name.

Satan was elated
When Jesus finally died
Thinking he had won the war
He partied through the night.

But then his world was shaken
He trembled with great fear
For Jesus Christ had risen
And suddenly stood near.

Yes, Satan is defeated
His fate already known
He’ll burn in Hell forever
But sadly not alone.

Jesus won the victory
Defeating all His foes
The reigning King alive
Is Jesus pure and whole.

Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!!

It brings chills to read this! ...Satan realizing that Jesus has risen...Wouldn't have loved to see Satan's face that day!
