We fight over money And over politics We fight over passions And over sacred sects. We fight over language And family affairs We fight over illness And burdens we all bear. We fight over music And a win or loss We fight over fashion And who should be the boss. We fight over so much Yet mutually we share The feelings and emotions When we take the chance to care. We all have been betrayed We all have felt pure joy We all have had regrets We all have felt annoyed. We’re all created equal And in God’s loving sight He loves each person wholly And hates it when we fight. Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

How often I've thought our Lord must view our fighting as childish foolishness, like children haggling over a TV program or how long one's turn was, or? We have so much and are all loved equally. Using our time to encourage one another in faith,would be so much better. Thank you for sharing this piece. Rae |

You are soo right. I think people never outgrow being kids..only now their toys are not matchbox cars and water pistols, but weapons of mass destruction. |
