Prayers for Rachel

At one time or another
We all stand in need of prayer.
When we are sorrowed and bowed low
A good friend will be there.

In this corner, our friend Marge
Has alway done her share
To comfort each and everyone
Who comes in need of prayer.

Now Marge is asking us to pray
For someone she holds dear;
Her precious, hurt and broken niece
To whom death came so near.

She lies in a hospital bed
With family by her side,
Praying for her recovery;
Aware she could have died.

And so we send our prayers aloft
For Rachel and her mother;
For our dear Marge who loves her
And for her dad and brother.

We ask God for His angels
To hover overhead,
To bring her healing soon that she
Can leave hospital bed.

"We know You love her too, Lord
And hold her in Your care.
May she feel Your gentle touch
As she lies hurting there."

Amen,Joyce

Thank you friends for adding your prayers to all the others that are going toward Rachel's recovery.  Marge says that she is being moved from intensive care.  God hears.  Love, Joyce

Thank you for this beautifully written reminder to keep Racheal and her family in constant prayer.  Marge has been so diligent in supporting needs of this 'poetic' family, it's a pleasure to pray for her need now.

MyFriends~
Reading this makes me realize that I need to share the email from my sister just last evening~

--------------------------------------------
"Rachel is home, doing better each day.  She looks WONDERFUL thank god.  Nose, etc......excellent plastic surgeon on her
wounds. Bad news on her leg....LCL ligament wasn't just stretched, but severed. MCL and ACL were both strained.
They hope for scar tissue to form in the next 6 to 8 months on the LCL...if not...she'll need surgery on the leg.

She's being fitted for a brace next week.  Arm is being recasted next week as well.....plate and screws might have to remain in her arm...but can be removed if they bother her.  All in all....she's doing well and could not have done so without the loving prayers from all.
Thank them for me .... for us.
--------------------------------------------

Thank you ALL~

Oh this was a lovely circle of prayer!  I feel for her I had that knee surgery a long time ago, and severed all my ligaments in one knee skiing (one and half years of therapy later) I was up walking without help, when they did not think it possible.  I will sure pray times have changed, and she has a very quick recovery from her leg injury too.  There is a loving God for sure, that saves some and also takes some for his own purposes.  Beautiful Joyce.

Thank you, Marge, and thank you God for the Good report. I am soooo Thankful that she is doing much much better now. Prayer does work. No doubt about it. I pray that she will continue to recover and that the "LCL" ligament will continue to heal as well. I pray that God would continue to bless and heal Rachel and be ever close to her during this most urgent time of her healing as well as her physical, spiritual, and emotional restoration. In Jesus name. Amen. God bless. -Bob
