United With The Son

Behind the hills, the clouds mass high,
Building ramparts in the sky.
Their shadows cast a bluish glow
Across the valley far below.
They send a wind to howl and wail,
Accompanied by pelting hail,
That drums on every roof around
And piles in white heaps on the ground.

It dies away and when it's done,
It isn't long before the sun
Illuminates the aftermath
Remaining in the brief storm's path.
Is it indicative of when
Christ returns to earth again
And after all the fury's done,
We'll be united with The Son?>/font>

I love your eye for catching Mother Nature at her very best or worst whatever the case
may be, but in any case, as usual, this poem is lovely and I do think the message here is
most probable as I am now looking for Christ's return more now than ever before.

Thank you for sharing and God bless. -Bob

Bob;  I see so much of God in nature and the events that take place. There always seems to be a message in the natural world events.  At least to me and I tend to agree with your statement that we will be united with Him soon!

God Bless!

I like your comparison of Nature to God.  I truly believe they are one and the same.  Love,  Joyce

Now and then I pick a poem here to read, while wishing I could read all of them.  This piece (as all others) is beautiful, thank you for sharing your talents and perspectives. We must always look for the silver lining in the midst of the worst storms, because God provides them so we can see His love always comes through.

Dear Sandgrain:

It means a great deal to me, to have you comment on a poem of mine, at this time in your life, when you are facing such trauma!
Thank you for taking time to read and for picking one of mine. I hope you know I am constantly praying for Rebecca and all of you, her family! God and His angels be with you all!

Love
Betty Lou
