In their mind they conceive a tiny world that they want to believe.
Satan comes to them in disguise while whispering to them subtle lies.
He wants you to have blinded eyes, to think that you alone are wise.
Just like at man’s original fall, he says that you don’t need God at all.
It worked with that woman Eve, now it’s you he’s trying to deceive.
So he comes along by your side to fill your heart with wicked pride,
There’s nothing good in us at all and next to God we’re awful small.

When the light finally comes on they’ll see just where they’re from.
We come to God totally depraved and only by His Grace are we saved.
We’re on the wrong side from the start, born with wicked sinful heart.
Satan fell from Heaven’s abode and wants you on a destructive road.
For ever since Satan fell, he knew that he was destined for Hell.
Satan wants nothing less my friend, than to see you to a tragic end.
The Lake of Fire is where he’ll be and he wants you there eternally.

My friend, Satan is behind it all, hoping that you will one day fall.
Flee from Satan and his wicked lies and God will make you truly wise.
Put God in all that you do and say and He will guide you all the way.
Walk along God’s narrow path and you will avoid God’s Eternal Wrath.
When you find Jesus Christ and see the Light and Power of His Life.
He gives you power to understand just what God’s purpose is for man.
And light to see just how empty life really is without Jesus Christ.
