I look deep in me heart,
as far as I can see.
A lif that has been given me,
for free.
I no longer see and emptiness,
inside of me.
I see the Lord living in me,
whether I be here or there,
He is everywhere.

There is change,
from the past to the present.
He has been there without resentment,
and I know I am a daughter,
and that He is my father,
because he wants to be.

I look past all my fears and insecurities,
and begin to wonder,
why it took so long,
to see the light,
His love is everlasting,
and unconditional.

Sometimes its hard to see, and when you do it's amazing to think about the fact that somehow once you didn't.

Beautiful! Thank you Kellie.  I too wonder why it took me so long to see the truth.  Your write is elegant and full of emotion, unforced and well done.  Beautiful!  I used to be a regualr to this forum and most have probably forgot about me.  Coming back to find such a refreshing new writer may just be what I need to get me writing again.  I'll be looking forward to lots more of your stuff. Thank you and God Bless - Tim

Hmmm Correction - looks like you've been here posting longer than me, my mistake.  I wonder how many incredible poems of yours I have missed out on.   thanks again - Tim
