Words truly are a miracle
So often we don’t know
Just how they touch another
Or the gift that they bestow

We convey our thoughts with meaning
Post our poems upon the board
Each one getting comments
Gives us some kind of reward

Soon we have forgotten them
On back pages they are stored
To us a distant memory
Not forgotten by our Lord

Little do we realize
Just how someone was smitten
Or the lives that had been touched
By the words that we had written

A miracle God’s given
Allowing me to see
The goodness I took part in
Has returned now to touch me

words have on others. Hopefully it was good actions or words that had a positive affect.

We do good (and believe me I’ve done bad too),
but was blessed to see the good I had done come
back to touch my heart deeply in my time of need.
I was given a miracle. We’re always blessed, but
don’t always get the chance to see this
“what goes around, comes around” in action.

I want to thank each and everyone of you out there
for everything you’ve given me back. It is a gift
beyond measure, beyond words, beyond my wildest
expectations.  I’m thankful God has allowed me
to be a part of this gift. *

Becky, this is a beautiful poem. The poetry of many others has touched me and I hope that I will be able to touch them as well. This is a nice reminder of that. Well done!

Becky,

You are given in return not only by what you have given, but by WHO YOU ARE.

And you, my dear, are worthy of every word that has come in your direction.

You not only relate the highest degree of faith, but you live it. Your unwavering priciples, in itself, merits much esteem from all who know you.

And that high regard is NOW being expressed.

Love you
Liz

Rebecca

This really touched me.  I've had so much support myself from poetry and the poets here, including you.  Thank you for giving back what was given.  You are in my thoughts.

Lovely poem of gratitude here.
Still holding you in thought and prayers.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Your words will never be forgotten, and even as we hold them close to our hearts, we know they should be released upon the winds, to be carried to others who need to read them.
Hugs to you and all of your loved ones, dear WhtDove.

How amazing that she left these words for us and her other lovely poems are saved for us to savor when our hearts are heavy for her.
My prayers are with her sweet mother and the others. Rebecca no longer needs our prayers. Joyce
