Are you looking for a harbor of refuge from this life’s stormy sea?
And a lighthouse to guide you through a time of distress and or need.
As trials and turmoil about you always seem to steadily resound.
Only in The Lord Jesus Christ can true peace in this world be found.

Throughout this country’s history and throughout the annals of time,
You can see intervention that one can only explain as being Divine.
Our country has flourished under the guidance of The Sovereign Lord.
However, today in this land many cherish, God is truly being ignored.
The fallen state from what we once were, can not by anyone be denied,
And as a nation founded under God can we as a people from Him hide?

Unlike Israel, who have been promised by God to one day be restored,
What will be the fate for our country if God continues to be ignored?
Many nations of the world by God’s decree will ultimately cease to be.
For all the nations rise and fall by the Sovereign Will of The God of all.
Righteousness exalts a nation but sin has been a reproach since creation,
We say one nation under God but we ignore The Lord’s Righteous Rod.

The final battles yet to be are found my friend in Bible Prophecy.
And I hope it makes you pause to know, we are not mentioned at all.
We’ve made it through the darkest night by The Lord’s unfailing Light.
It’s not by our power or might but The Spirit Who makes all things right.
But soon His Light will be eclipsed as from our nation The Lord departs,
For just like Israel, He was on their lips but was far from all their hearts.

He's coming very soon, the signs are very clear,
And when that trumpet sounds, we’ll be otta here!
Waiting in Him with Great Expectation,  Bob Gott
