Sorrows and Blessings

I've known some sorrows of this earth
Almost too hard to bear.
I've also known the blessings and
Joy of tender care.

God promises we'll see them once
Again in his own time.
Our troubles will be exchanged for
A happiness sublime.

I am not the first to bury
A child whom I adored
And God says those taken from us,
One day will be restored.

It is not that I don't believe
Nor hold your promise dear,
But Lord, without the ones I loved,
It is so lonely here.

Dont worry...the Holy Spirit will be your comfort.it is indeed hard,to live without those u love, either dead or far away and i know how lonely it is too.but the Lord is my strength, hope and comfort and if u let him, he will be yours too...

Always,
D Star.

Jesus died that you might live...accept that and u shall be saved.

Dear Joyce, your heart aches and still it says grace. This is very beautiful and touching. To be aware of His presence in our very core gives comfort.

Joyce, I want to say I loved the poem becuase it was so well written, but like any good art it brought a strong emotion upon me.  I really felt your pain here.  I'm not sure what you are going through, but I know you understand God as comfort.  I know I haven't really been a consistent poet here at Passions but the times I have dedicated to this forum, you have always treated me as a friend.  I truly admire your heart and your skill.  I will pray for you.
Love - Tim
PS - keep writing Joyce, for us it is a great healing tool.  God can speak to you through your own writing.

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Proverbs 28:26
