I gaze upon the stars at night
Ponder on each twinkling light
Still filled with feelings of contrite
As I think of you tonight

I miss you more each passing day
Still my love I do convey
With all my heart each night I pray
That in Heaven you're okay

We always wish we had more time
Before those pearly stairs we climb
You lost your life when its prime
While I still toil for my dime

Can't help the tears e'en though I've tried
I'm still hurting deep inside
Wondering bout where you reside
Hoping that you'll be my guide

One day again we'll be together
We'll fly upon our wings of feather
Always in God's perfect weather
In eternity forever

Still missing you Rod!

I've shed quite a few of those "wondering tears" myself and think you wrote this feeling out so well.  They will indeed be our guides I think.  Nicely done, and sorry for your loss as well.

Today I'm only moving clouds, tomorrow I'll try mountains.

Dear Rebecca:  This "missing" feeling always is there, but it does get a little easier with time.

I do so know what you are feeling and you have told it all.  My Cliffy left me 5 years ago this last Sunday. The ache stays.  Love, to you.  Joyce

Thank you all for you understanding and support.  I'm doing ok....somedays are harder than others. Especially when I look too long upon his picture or ponder too long on thoughts of him. They'll always be missed.

Blessings do come from these things, I have written in I don't know how long and look at these I'm popping out.

God bless and thanks everyone.

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I know Rod is always guiding you in spirit and will always love you, when the time is right in the future you will climb the crystal stairs with him and be united with your loved ones on the balustrade, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Rebecca, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I's good to  know that she and Rod have found each other now, and could she even be in better hands?  Resting together Brother and Sister, for eternity - praise the Lord.

Becky it's been so long since we've talked and I had no idea of your loss. I'm so terribly sorry but I'm thankful that you  have the strong arms of the Lord to lean on. Those are the arms that when the whole human race lets you down will remain firm and never changing. I wish I was able to give ya big ole hug.
Love & bigggggg hugs,
Jules

I miss both of them more than I can possibly express, but believing they're with our Lord certainly eases my mind.
Thanks to whoever put this back on top.  It warms my heart each time I see someone's mentioned her or her writings.

God bless,
   Rae (the mom)
