Voices in His Ear

Sometimes, when I say my prayers
And other folks are saying theirs,
I wonder just how God can hear
So many voices in His ear?

It is one of His mysteries.
He hears and also, somehow sees
Each one of us and what we do
And if we're being honest too!

He counts the hairs upon our head.
Listens to each word that's said.
Shares our hopes and joys and fears.
Watches o'er us through the years.

Gives us strength and comforts all
And catches us before we fall.
The wonder of His powers awes
And helps us to obey His laws!

Trillium, these are some of the things my parents always taught me to believe.  They are written so sweetly and beautifully here.  Thanks for putting them here for us to see.

Trill -

So much of my thought when writing is devoted to just how big God is and how our little ignorant minds can never comprehend his ways.  I loved this poem; it was full of humility and respect.  Thank you and God bless you - Tim

As you see, I am wandering through. This is beautiful. I am not in a good mood today-didn't get my own way so I am working through the spiritual section.  I just put this one in my Betty Lou File and sent a copy to a friend.
