I feel like a Solomon
Made wise--but a fool,
For not following up
On what I well know to do.

With the keys here in my hand
Able to unlock,
A brighter future ahead
Why do I circle the block?

What it is I am fearing--
Myself to commit,
With true determination
Thus make good use of my wit.

Too tied to bad habits
And ways I have known,
To break the wrong thought patterns
Sure to reap what I have sown.

Am I now a fatalist
Not subject to change,
Which is really so needed
My life to be re-arranged?

May I learn from Solomon
Wisdom left undone,
Is but a proud man's folly
I must seek to overcome!

I know, in ways it's said
Solomon was great,
LORD, may I share in his wisdom
But may I be spared his fate!

Every Day's a Blessing
And Gift-Wrapped from Above,
Share it with another
And Spread the Father's Love!!!

May You come to Know His Best Blessing

As we get older we become creatures of habit, some good, some bad, and I think the only way to change those we wish to is to do exactly what you have done, as there isn't anyone that shows the way better than the Lord is there?  I try to change one thing at at time.  Enjoyed your prayer very much, thank you.

A Very Happy New Year To You and Yours!
Let there be peace on earth

Old habits die hard, true enough, but in Him, all things are possible!  I've seen enough in this old world to truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I believe He can guide us through it all.  Nicely done.
