A King, Mighty, Capable of anything
Of destroying anything, of creating anything
And stopping anything that stands in His way

Takes a step toward me
And tenderly tells me, and patiently tells me
Who He is and that He is intensely interested
in what happens to me
in the person who I am
in the choices that I make

And He makes a vow to me -
That He will never leave me or forsake me
And that He can always be trusted
