Saluting with misty eyes

My Father, My Life
Why has it come to pass
That I am left here
On the floor
Alone
Begging for Mercy
And an end to the pain
You are my Protector
Yet you protect me not
Leaving me to my own devices
To release the agony
I find within myself
Again
Your promise of Peace
Of Understanding and Love
Forsaken for the life
I yet have led

My Son, My Exsistence
You do not see the truth
You were never left
On the floor
Alone
The Mercy you sought
Blocked the pain in your heart
For I am your Protector
And I protected you
From yourself, your own devices
I released the agony
I keep within myself
Again
To give you my Peace
My Understanding and Love
Granted to you by
The Blood my Son bled

My first one back... hopefully not my last

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.

I am so glad He promises He will never leave us, or forsake us. Very nice.

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, I always cry envisioning how His son must have felt in anguish being crucified butn all at once I know He bled for us and His Father had planned it not out of bitterness but out of love, and that does indeed sound strange but I believe it! (sigh) Happy holidays, dearest friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Wow - Ringo - I never thought about writing a poem as a sort of conversation, question and answer style.  Very original.  I know sometimes it feels that we are forsaken, but we have to fight the battle to hold our trust for him. Every day is a battle.  God bless you - Tim
