So much I've seen
So much I've felt
My strength rose stubbornly to face the storms of my life
It stood in the face of every tornado
And after a time
Its steel bent, its plaster crumbled
And a broken skeleton stood in its place

Delicate and fragile and broken
I attempted to face another storm
The breeze puffed
And I broke
And fell into the dust

And discovered the arms of my Comforter
He held the broken pieces of my strength
In His hands
Then He blew the fragments
And they dissipated into the wind
Leaving me with nothing of my stubborn strength

Only His scarred hands holding me
And His gentle love

A new strength He set before me
A choice
Not of steel, nor bone
Not human will, nor stubbornness
But Himself

And I sink with relief
Into the arms
Of my Savior, of my God
Of
the Christ

This was the most beautiful thing I've read in quite a while. So much truth in the way it really is in lifes frailest times. When we are the weakest then He can shine through with His strength. I am so glad I read this. I am going to save it to read again.

Terri~

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I too used to feel broken as I believe everyone should feel somehow to understand His loving grace and His strength! (sigh) Yay, I'm so happy to see you now stronger than ever, you are a true soldier of Him, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thanks Noah.  His strength sustains us in weakness, and the amazing thing is He shares it with us.
