A mans voice screams out in the sanctuary
asking for peace
He knows that theres not going to be a answer
slowly his feet turn and they start walking

A small child peers from the pew
in a small voice they ask for love
They expect something; an answer
The are firm in the request so they stay

The man has no faith
he lives out the day not expecting an answer
He misses the very answer
He just had to look out of his window

The child refuses to move
staring at the cross knowing the answer will come
in the stillness a rushing warmth comes in
The child thanks God and leaves

The man angry with his lack of answers gave up
his faith didn't matter anymore
he missed his answer that God was daily showing him
all he had to do was look outside at his kids

there was peace

I can't be your superman

Very painful...seems he found his solace though, so that's a good thing.

hmmm SO much truth - the older I get the harder the battle of faith becomes.  Lately my wife & I are starting to discuss the possibilty of extending our family so everything I read or see about children has been having an affect on me.  It would be nice to have some little people around who don't struggle with thier faith, would be a great influence on me.  Amen to this poem, I felt the pain of this man.

Thank you and God Bless - Tim

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, dearest friend, I think ever so often in many ways the children are far more wiser and everyone should always look to them as in innocence and unconditional love I believe true faith and wisdom can be achieved! (sigh) That is why I walk on with the spirit of the boy singing in my heart, God Bless You, we all loe you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
