He Is The Rock

From rocky heights, to depths of sea,
There is a strange fragility,
When nature's forces are released.
It's like a wild and hungry beast
That causes waves of giant size,
To strike before we realize,
How devastating they can be
And earthquakes change topography,
With fissures and with clefted stone,
To change the face of all we've known.
The things that we perceive as strong,
Do sometimes show us, we are wrong.
The only strength that's always there,
That never changes, is God's care.
He is the rock that never fails.
Who carries us through all life's gales!

Hello Betty Lou

Yesterday I posted a poem about the angry sea so I guess we were on a similar wavelength when we wrote.  Your words were so very much enjoyed, as always.

Take care......Sue

I noticed a similar thing, that that is such sheer power and delicacy in creation.

I noticed recently as well the incredible strength and fragility displayed in creation.

Well it's for sure this is so true. He is the rock in the storm. That place you can go to that doesn't move when the storm rages He's still there when the winds die down, and the fog is gone...He's still there holding out his hand. Thank you for sharing this. I needed to read this!!!
Love,
Terri~

Amen

       And

Its so good to have Him to lean on

This is excellent
