(AN: I've been dealing with a broken heart for over a month now. She whom I love with my heart and soul is involved with another man. The prayer that inspired this poem is on this site: http://www.ability.org.uk/Prayer.html ) Give me Strength You give me what others do not want. For the pain of unrequited love does haunt. Me throughout the dark night. I know you are cognizant of my plight. For you will give me strength, faith and courage. When in the workings of love I become discouraged. You gave me hurt, disquiet and discord. I don't have the courage to ask on my own accord. But grant me strength, courage, and faith. To battle my inner demon and wraith. You are asked for love so often. By many a soul, on days when. They feel lonely and emotionally bereft. You're asked so much you must have none left. So give me what you do have remaining. But let me see the sun whilst its raining. Also grant me faith, courage, and strength. So I can endure the crisis at length. |

Well there is nothing heals a broken heart better than a good friend to lean on, and I do believe you have turned to the right one. Hope you heart is better soon, love shouldn't hurt. |

  (big hugggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, it hurts me to see you aching so much and all I can say is I too have had this heartache (though I never met the one I loved, Joanna) and He has a plan and whether it is her or another special woman, you will find true happiness, it is His promise! (sigh) He is hearing your prayer, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Carl, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you!
