Losses and Lessons Each has their share of tragedy, In living life, it seems to me. No matter who we are or where, We need God's love to help us bear The things that cause us to be sad. Regrets for things we've never had. The losses and the lessons learned, The happy times that quickly turned To tears and troubles never dreamed. No matter how we planned and schemed, Life seldom grants us a reprieve, But God does see us when we grieve And sends us angels to surround And comfort us, with love profound! Very True indeed. Even when it feels like the world has caved in and fallen upon you God will always be right beside you to help you through it all. Wonderful poem. |

Sharon: Thanks for reading! I was feeling very sad when I wrote this, as a young neighbor of ours had just been killed. His horse kicked him in the back and by the time he was taken from the ranch and reached a doctor, it was too late. It got me thinking about how many people I know whose lives are touched by tragedy! also on how they all look to God for strength toget through it. Betty Lou Hebert |
