I don't know the plans that You have for me,
and sometimes You're hard to understand.
The future isn't very easy for me to see,
and sometimes I feel I've done all that I can.

Its then when You surround me
and won't let me be:
tired, cold, bent, and alone.
Your mercy is a mystery.

Sometimes I feel so far from You,
Like a lost sheep out on its own.
Doing my own thing and being confused,
reaping the consequences of all that I've sown.

Sounds like a kindred spirit. Just seems a part of my journey to feel confusion, and fall off the path, and then come back everytime. At least now my falls aren't so deep anymore. Thanks be to God.

Our God is a God of compassion. He keeps giving us his mercy at all the right times. Is his mercy really a mystery, or is it his constant love we are still trying to understand?
