Jesus...I am in so much pain I wish that I could make things right and for you the whole world gain am I still dreaming in blinded sight? or are you really here with me? Jesus...I need you to carry me through the storms and darkness ahead will you carry me when I'm crying myself to sleep in bed will you lift up my soul when it seems as if I've hit at rock bottum of a deep dungeon hole and if the sky seems dark today will you be the light that melts away every single tear every single fear that weakens and burdens me and help this blinded soul to see oh Jesus...how do I go on when all I have in this world is a tattered book and a weak spirit of empty passion will you help me find a reason to live another day before my last wish is to pass away into the everlasting doom where Grace has found no room and the angels of light stay far far away but where the prince of darkness will forever stay help me Jesus hold me keep me hanging on Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |

i do believe that. if i did not, all i live for and hope for would be shattered into nothing and all i would want to do is die. so i hold on for dear life that i do not stop believing. - River Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |

Amen! honestly this prayer/poem is water under the bridge in some ways, and in other ways it is still something i talk to God about. When I read this the word contrition kept coming to mind. With a heart so contrite I know God would never turn away a heart like that. I just know it. He is a good God!!!  Thanks so much for sharing this one. I needed this.  Love, Terri~  |

*hugs to all* whispering wind: i know what you mean, i think i was almost crying when i wrote this...and it is absolutely uplifting to know that i'm not the only one that feels this way sometimes too. Joyce Johnson: thank you, for sure, i hope that i never let go even to the point of death...the pain we go through now is nothing when we think of the reward we get for enduring through it. SharaRose: Contrition...now that's a familiar word i have not heard in awhile. thank you for reminding me of that one...*sigh*...your right, God is Good, even when we have been bad he's there ready to forgive. your welcome =) God Bless you guys! =) - River Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |
