My friend
I mourn for you
as you scream for Salvation
in the death
in the humiliation

I want to run
run away from your cries
curse Satan
for telling
blinding you
with wicked lies

for you - it is to late
you tried to escape your pain
by sealing your own fate
your life down the drain
you listened to Satan
now you stand
before heavens gate
but are turned away

your last words before you left
still haunt me
like shadows from a willow tree
invades my mind
you said you don't want to live
your skin
cold as ice
i hear your screams for salvation
as you are stung by death
torturing humiliation
I want to run
run from your haunting cries
only terror
sealing my feet to the ground
fighting to disbelieve the very same
lies

My friend
I cry for you
as you are put in chains
to suffer
among vicious demons
yet all alone
millions of miles away
from the sweet angels
from the mighty throne of our Lord

Oh God, I know you mourn so bitterly
as a former child suffers in hell
we did all we could to save her
but all the hopes and fears are shattered
fate never gives a second chance
I'm still here father
Don’t let me follow

---this poem probably belongs in the dark poetry forum, but i thought it was more spiritual than just dark...so i am putting it here...it is about a friend of mine that almost succeeded at a suicide attempt...i wondered what would have happened if she did, and wrote this.---

Love hurts as bad as it feels good.

Well I am very, very sorry for your friend, and am glad you realize that is not the path to follow.  There is always a way out of any trouble, if one asks, and you are asking the right person for help.

River:  This is a very sad story, but at least your friend is alive and there is always hope for her salvation. Especially if she has friends like you and others who care about her and will lead her in the right direction. God Bless and hope her life will turn towards Him!

River - very moving.  It is obvious how much you care and that you have a true spirit of reaching out.  I will pray for you. God bless you - Tim
