My homeland is not of the world

Reunion
by,
Matt

Through the swarm
without a form
I headed towards my goal

Through the crowd
that stood so proud
I saw the Savior of my soul

I ran for the gate
not wanting to wait
Oh, how i longed for this day

When I won the race
and saw his face
I knew not what to say

So I ran by his side
And hugged him, and cried
"My Savior! My Lord!"

I asked him why
He chose to die
to have my soul restored

He looked at me
And so that I may see
He pointed out to the souls

And with eyes full of tears
He whispered in my ear
"So my family would be whole."

I had fun with this one It took me awhile to figure out how to end it, but I believe it was well worth the wait.

Beautifully inspired words.

Awesome!  It gave me chills to read this.  You write about the things that really matter in this world.  Well done and may God bless you.
