I've never written any poetry before just sort of came out this afternoon.

With harsh rain beating on my skin,
I begin to turn and leave,
it seems the cold will win.

But I stand on a rock in the light,
still warm from the long day past
that I have missed in night.

That rigid freeze finally leaves me,
a better spirit flows through,
And now, with faith, I see,

I can be born anew.

Well now, welcome and if that "just popped out" then I am really going enjoy reading your spontaneous poetry.  This was very spiritual and cleansing, very nice indeed.
