A little bit essay with a poetic style.......
****************************************************

"The Journey"
We begin a "Journey" when we are born, it is our life:
We live an adventure, specifically written for us.
No one else's "Journey" will ever be the same;
Each being individual, scripted for the one who lives it.

Our journey's often cross the path of someone who will share it;
Their life becomes intertwined with ours and it becomes one.
Some make the "Journey" completely alone;
Because they refuse to allow anyone to join them.

We are lost on this "Journey" never coming close to the destination;
Until we meet our "Guide;" "Jesus;" who has made the trip before us.
He knows the way safely along the dangerous path ahead,
His steps are sure, his hand strong.

He guides us around pitfalls, and stumbling blocks continually.
Where we would fall, he makes our steps firm.
We cry out when we think he is not there, but he is there.
He tells us he has gone ahead to secure the next mile.

When the "Journey's" end is near; and we have become weary,
and the great "City" is near
He tells us he has prepared us a home in his "Father's house;
Where we will have forever to give "Praise" to the "King of the City."

Just outside the Gate; we cannot go any further,
and we fall; our guide Jesus calls for the "King's Attendants;"
Heavenly Angels; who carry us in to be dressed
as a guest worthy of the "King's home.

Lovely white Linen robes and a "Crown of Gold."
The feast is ready and about to be served.
Is your feet headed down the correct path
towards the "Journey's" end?

I really enjoyed this Steven, and as you can see by my signature, the journey is all important to me

Sure, I wear rose-colored glasses, makes everything just rosey. Carpe' Diem

I love this and it did touch my curiousity.

I would love to hear some of your personal stories.

Care to share?

(If you've already posted some, I may find them yet, but a little direction never hurt. )

Enjoyed much.

I look forward to more.

With Jesus as our guide, the journey will be a good one. I enjoyed the read. Melton
