On heavens edge I hang to the spider web I wove. My outcome's uncerent, my fate tainted because I was chose. Painted with a mark far beyond our kind. my souls torn between the line as i run out of time.
    Here come's my answer. DECLINED

I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson-

If I read your right, I think perhaps you should think that answer over a bit.  Love, Joyce

Jermiah,
I enjoyed reading this poem...I thought the compostion very interesting and out of the ordinary. From a philosophical standpoint I agree with JoyOheaven's comment. Great Poem! Look forward to reading more of your work.

Jeremiah,
Do you feel declined by yourself, by society or by some religious or spiritual entity? I haven't got an answer. I am not religious, but I do know that any spiritual entity that makes sense will judge people by their hearts. In society you will always find some that decline you for whatever stupid reason they may have. But these people are unimportant. The only ones that count are those that take the trouble to understand you.

I know I don't know you, and I also know what I have to say will carry with it no weight at all since my *opinion* is from a person you don't know, but I have to say the *God* (God the Father of Jesus) I believe in, and serve in whatever capacity I can, be it small at this point, or not, He is one that would *not* judge you. If that is so then why would HE be the one at the well where all the men were going to stone the woman for adultery, and Jesus' the Son stepped up to the well, and told ALL the *men* if any one of you has not sinned then cast the first stone." If He wasn't fair. If he didn't advocate on the side of the hurting, and beat down, then why would He do this? This is just one in many times He stood against injustices toward people. Declining is surely your right, but I hope before declining someone that *understood* and had *compassion* for your plight, and was there to champion for you..well I would think about it for a while! I hope all you endevour to do works out for you. And Yes I believe in God, but turning my back on people because they don't believe the way I do...well I think that's awfully judgemental, and to judge I can't. That's too big shoes for me to fill. I'm Not God....that's his job...Yes He judges in the END, but there are many, many, many years that He loves you, takes care of you, and IS there when you don't even know He's protecting your life. Bless ya bunches!!

My friend... if you believe that this will come true for you, it is your choice. God came to earth in the form of a man to die for us and to give us a choice. God gave us free will to choose our path, and we are the only ones to blame if it isn't what we should have chosen. I hope that you decide to look into what God has done for you.. He has done much and He loves you. I know you're tired of preaching but we just want you to know what has made all of us so blessed, happy, and free from sin.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

Jeremiah,
Ever wonder why when you post a poem about spirituality, it ends up as reference to God? Not any thing else you may believe in or view as your reality.
I know what you mean about feeling cast aside, but look to the stars and you will find you are never alone.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Jeremiah, I too hate to rub it in further but I agree ever so much with what everyone else has said. You have the right to decline, it's just I beg you to take the time and understand He loves you and is only here to help, and until the time is right, you will be judged and all He wants is for you to be free! (sigh) So before you make your decision, have the heart to think it over too for Him, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeremiah, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

i am going to have to agree with Joyce on this noe, this matter seems to be serious and I think you should take the proper time to think your answer over?  Why is declined your answer in the first place?  Do you feel you are not good enough?  What ever the case may be I look forward to your answer and more awesome reads.

>>>be blessed

Having seen you are a soldier before I even comment similar to those above I think I would have to hear from you on your explanation of this poem in its content.  I do know one thing for sure though - no one is every declined fully, and there is always time to turn things around.   Enjoyed your poem Jeremiah.

casting aside all of the other comments made for the moment, i think this is a well written poem. i can tell you must have written this as an outcome of a strong feeling, and not just for the sake of writing a poem...and i hope that no-matter what the reason for writing this is, you are still searching for truth...for a better answer. Don't give up, life's not over yet. *hugs*
