Oh how I love the midnight hour when the world is dark and still, and I hurry to meet my Savior to seek his perfect will.

As I fall to my knees at my bedside and quietly begin to pray, all the burden of yesterdays hours seem to melt and just fade away.

There's no trouble too large he can't handle, no problem that seems too small, the blood that he shed at Calvary was enough to cover them all.

He knows my every weakness, he gives me strength to stand, and the times I'd surely stumble he's holding out his hand.

His peace flows sweetly round me, I'm wrapped in its warm cocoon, his light is a blaze of glory in the darkness of my room.

Oh how I love the midnight hour, that time with Jesus I spend, when he picks up the pieces of my life, my Lord, my Savior, my friend.

This is lovely.  Your line style is quite unique, but it works.  Joyce

"when he picks up the pieces of my life, my Lord, my Savior, my friend."

I especially love that part, but the whole poem is a great write. There's nothing like communion with the Lord.

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

(smiles) His love shines in the moon and stars and signals to us as we kneel at our beds praying to Him, sweet friend, God Bless You, and at midnight may we all look to Him for guidance as we sleep, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
