When the world with all its troubles, comes calling at my door, I go and seek my refuge, where I've gone so oft before. And there in that sweet presence I'm suddenly aware, that he is softly whispering, "I care my child, I care." His love comes stealing round me, causing doubts and fears to flee, Jesus is my refuge, he calms the storm in me. He's a mighty fortress, our gift from God above, and faith the only key, that swings wide the doors of love. Once the doors are open, and you claim the peace within, the world with all its troubles won't bother you again. For now you have a refuge, who stands strong against the foe, Jesus is that refuge, My Bible tells me so. |
