Prayer for the slowly growing closer #4

Submission

All of a sudden the pile of injustices
I have carried for longer than
I can forget grew so high
that I could no longer see
where I was going.

Time held still.

The Lord and the stop sign
were all that were watching
as each one was wept free.

Thank you for the barrier
and the detour to forgiveness.

The weeping weaves the road
to submission and with words
cracked and broken I pray,

Not my will Lord,
but Thine.

You have NO idea how these poems are helping me on my journey - carry on please.  These are very heartwarming and are hitting their mark, at lest with me.

thank you sharon, I can only write my journey, but if it helps another, then I am glad...
I thank God for my long commute, it is my time alone with him every day...a 'rainy' morning, has turned into a day full of sunshine

The weeping weaves the road
to submission and with words
cracked and broken I pray,

Nothing cracked and broken about these words, Lady... they flow straight from the heart. *S* Just lovely. *S*

I think this is stunning work.

P.S.  To me, the numbers do not add, perhaps even distract, though I'm sure you have your rationale.

suthern, thank you lady...words yesterday cracked and broken have turned to silence today...some things are just not poetic...

layitdown, thank you...and yes you might be right about the numbers, never  gave it a second thought till you pointed it out

(sigh) There is no shame in retrograding along the way, dearest friend, the detour can always be the much more enlightening route as the cones are like Gods hands keeping you safe! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story
