THE WORLD THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL

Let’s relax, be natural, have it our way

In dignified union with all

We’re the emerging community-at-large

Benevolence one for all

Anomalies are to be stilled

We must arrange it that way

To grow the new order

Unhindered by pitiful ignorance

Those narrow and without the vision

It’s conclusive

Expendable them all

We’ll be cool about it though

Grind away

They’ll bow and cease

Do we care when or how?

We thirst for now and hope it painful
.
.
.
.
Just enjoy

Drain everything dry of its nectar

Take all that is available, why wait?

As long as there is a way

Want what is mine

Need what is mine

Will have what is mine

Deserve what is mine

And so do you, buddy

But don’t get in my way

Or I’ll use all my charm

And craft

To get yours too

I want you

To use

Perhaps not achieving the desired now

But I will

And I’ll do it again

And again and again

You’ll see

I’ll win
.
.
.
.
I’m so proud of you

Dressed to the nines like you are

And the wheels,  w-h-o-a  baby!

You have such bright spunkiness about you

Uncommon intelligence

I wish you much gaiety, laughter, indulgences

A community, you say?

Pleasant tolerance?

Ummmmmmmmm.

Well, to a point mind you

The silly can’t qualify

Their illusions defeat them

Why they can scarcely defend themselves

All talk, sentimentality, mush

Like the pathetic Galilean

They need to be shown what love really is

And taught some hard lessons as well

I’ll tell you what

I’ve got a plan

Let’s journey together

Each of you take all you want

It’s free!

And, by the way

It’s time we write off the third world

Don’t you think?

I’ve got a man I’m grooming

He’ll be of great assistance to us

In all these important matters

(big hugggsssssssss) Yes, we must work to rid of the idea of the third world, and not by imperialism, but by sharing the wealth and respecting the diversities while uniting! (sigh) And until that day comes, we will only destroy ourselves more and more with the falsity of joy and avarice, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jack, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you

Love,
Noah Eaton

I suppose there are folks with such conniving hearts and, but glad they are not the majority.  As shown by this beautiful Corner.  Did the speaker go by the name of Lucifer? Love, Joyce

As sweet as you are, Noah, somehow I feel you have absolutely no idea of what I'm talking about.  God bless you, dear brother.  You are so wonderful.   We are so privileged to have you in our presence!

Thank you, Joyce.  The point I am trying to make is that all of us have conniving hearts apart for our union with Christ.

I really enjoy your spirit!

Love,
LayItDown

This just enthralled me.

You touched on some themes that I am particularly fond of as well.

I appreciated the archetypical imagery and the thoughtful treatment you gave them here.

Thank you for the thought-provoking read.
