THE VALLEY OF DECISION Where is the line of crossing over Where do good and evil meet The point where darkness, doubt and fear All but touch the mercy seat Where is fence the playful straddle Partake they think of both realms Clay pots sent to the furnace Tried by fire within the kiln Drawn to valley by the wind Give me pause and give me time Exert much effort to flee the plain Just now too much on my mind Turn and spin, dodge and dart The eyes of God search and know The day’s end must determine House of fire or Shepherd’s fold You begin at the beginning And you end at the end Filling in the in-between Here only until all has been Everyone passing this way The way the twain meet The valley of decision is where Your soul you loose or keep Two are with you on hollow’s plain Both extend a friendly hand An angel holds out rest and ease The scared one His own blood |

Yes we have the choice! But I do hope we always will be given a second chance ... when we fail, so that in the end we shall be able - as the angels you speak of - to present ourselves with ease and peace. The valley of decision is where Your soul you loose or keep... *sigh* sometimes it's so hard to choose which one is the right way. But thanks for sharing and reminding, we all are free to choose. |
