He holds my hand and walks with me He tells me of sin and suffering He’ll carry me when I cannot walk He speaks for me when I cannot talk He picks me up when I fall down He showed his love when he wore my crown The time will come for you to see How he held me close, and saved me You’ll know the feel of his embrace And know that smile upon his face He’ll take your hand and walk with you He’d do anything you ask him to He’ll carry you when you cannot walk He’ll speak for you when you cannot talk He’ll pick you up when you fall down He showed his love when he wore your crown You’ll hear his words, loud and strong And have the strength to carry on Just when you feel you will fall down He reminds you that he wore your crown |
