But did you listen?

And now as I'm drifting towards my own deathbed,

You expect me to come running to you God, come running scared;

Scared that I'm going to miss your damned heaven

Like you missed mine.

God doesn't need us though, we need Him.
Its just, he loves us.
oh and.. I understand a little... my friends and others often compare my life with Job's... it hurts..

I too am so very sorry that you went through obviously what was a very unsettling experience. I think sometimes we are given trails in order to grow from them, but at the time that doesn't really help does it? I truly hope that you find the strength you had in your faith again, and it will be what holds you up. It is a good thing you wrote about how you felt as venting makes anyone feel better. If this was not about you personally, then it was a good poem to show how some will blame the one person they love the most in a crisis, and isn't that what love is?
